I provide clinical supervision that meets the requirements for you to pursue your clinical social work license. If you choose to utilize me as a social work licensure supervisor, I will review your work; provide you with professional feedback; provide you with training on professional skills and knowledge; support case conceptualization, treatment planning, and the quality of your work; support continued growth and development of professional skills and capacities; assist you in navigating professional and ethical challenges; and help you to continue to practice within professional frameworks and laws. I will actively listen and thoughtfully explore work caring for clients that will guide you in your own decision-making.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Brown University in Human Development and then my Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. I became licensed by the Tennessee Board of Social Work Licensure in 2011. I have completed more than 12 training hours in topics related to supervision and the mandatory crisis intervention and regulations trainings. I have seen many social workers through the process of achieving their LCSW.
My experience as a social worker has focused on but is not limited to the following: addressing trauma in clients and families; substance use disorders; infant and early childhood mental health; family-centered practices; the provision of holistic social work services across in-home, outpatient, and residential settings; and maintaining practices in accordance with funding and licensing requirements. During supervision, I utilize collaborative practices with the supervisee, mindfulness self-regulation strategies, the use of reflective practices, and curiosity and exploration of clinical skills that enhance the supervisee’s everyday professional practices.
